The path of Nomad Bushcraft

My journey into bushcraft and survival began over 30 years ago, sparked by my first survival manual from the legendary John "Lofty" Wiseman. A couple of years of homelessness in my early 20s highlighted the critical need for substantial self-support skills. Anything can happen to any of us at any moment, and having an emergency back-up plan is crucial.

My formal training started with my first survival course with Hannah Nicholls of Natural Pathways near Canterbury, UK, in the early 2000s, igniting a thirst for knowledge that continues to this day. While no one can prepare fully for what life can throw at them, we can get pretty close.

I have always inspired by stories of courage and resilience and felt that was missing from my life, and so ... my journey began.

I don't want to start a camp somewhere; I feel that the whole world is my camp, and I have to live my life as a nomad and then share it with you online so that you know the skills are valid and true.
